KODEC (DK)

Where ambient stillness meets chaotic emotional rapture.

KodeC is the sonic alias of Danish filmmaker Ingerlise Oellgaard, whose shift from lens to waveform feels less like a pivot and more like a deepening of her aesthetic vocabulary. Joined by long-time collaborator and noise-sculptor Messell, the duo will at Lost Farm Festival present a volatile compound of improvisation, feedback spill, textural drift, and barely-there electroacoustic whisper.

Drawing from ambient architectures, degraded melody, and the dramaturgy of silence, KodeC charts a fragile emotional terrain where vocals are shrouded in saturated reverb, granular cello fragments, and synth structures that dissolve as quickly as they assert themselves.

KodeC's forthcoming debut EP – currently in gestation with Messell promises a body of work that resists cohesion, instead embracing rupture, decay, and the haunt of unresolved motifs. Known for a stripped-back visual language rooted in tension and stillness, Ingerlise Oellgaard’s sonic work under KodeC evokes a similarly liminal space – where intimacy and abrasion collapse into one another.
