Experience an adventurous electronic dance voyage accompanied by a breathtaking and swinging live horn section.
Lost Farm Festival invites you on a musical journey with the Egyptian DJ IHAB-IBI. Beginning in Cairo, he backpacked with rhythmic openness and chanting vibes through the underground scene of Southeast Asia absorbing diverse sonic influences and finding his creative home in Amsterdam.
Rooted in the rhythms of his childhood with Arabic pop, beduin funk, and Rai, IHAB-IBI reshapes these influences into a fresh, club-ready sound, bridging hypnotic acid and grooves with raw energy. His sets are a vibrant collision of tabla, riq, and the wail of the electronic mizmar, all woven together to create an electrifying, high-energy experience on the dancefloor.
IHAB-IBI is an Egyptian DJ and interdisciplinary artist. He has played venues and festivals such as Lazuli in Cairo, Kochi Biennale in India, Never Normal in Bangkok, and Tabaria x Laak Club in the Hague. In addition to his passion for music, he is also a professional croquis model and member of the international Corquis Collective.
